Hello Everyone,

Today is really my first official Blog. I did try to comment on my scenarios about CVS yesterday, but I am new at blogging so I kinda just put out what I am going to buy at CVS and what shopping order and hope it will give some of you some ideals. As I said, I am new at blogging, but I do know about shopping and prices. (As I said, I spend all day in Walmart and other stores, it's my job)

I grew up as a Minister's daughter who was a Missionary to the American Indians. I have lived on several Indian Reservations throughout the United States and if there is one thing I know it is how to live on less. My father taught me about spiritual things and my mother taught me how to stretch a dollar. I am so grateful to both of them for what they have instilled in me.

Throughout my life I have had to stretch my dollars. After getting married and having a family of my own, there were times when finances were good and I would forget my mother's teachings and just SPEND money, then there were other times I had to really budget and make my dollars go far. Now I am older and half of my kids are grown. I still have two children at home (Alex 15, Tony 11), and my husband and I are really seeing how important it is to really think about how we spend our money that we work so hard for everyday.

Money today is not like money was when I was younger. Money today really means more to me now than before. What I mean by that statement is, I realize now how hard I work for my money and how important it is to spend it wisely! I actually have more money now, but I want to make sure I do wise things with it. My husband and myself are both in our forties and our goal is to pay off our house in 9 years. With that said, I am on a mission to stretch my dollars and budget my money and save wherever I can to reach our goals.

I hope everyone will read my blog from time to time to find tips that I have come across on saving money and read about my life experiences. I will have lots of information on finding part time work that will fit your schedule for stay at home mom's and inside tips on other information about different stores that are having sales and coupons.
